Fast forward 50 years later… Shelby American built only 10 genuine Super Snake Continuation cars from original 1967 Fastback Mustangs. The donor cars were stripped to bare metal and transformed into a Super Snake. Power comes from a race-inspired big-block 427 FE 468 cubic inch all-aluminium V8 producing over 550 horsepower, backed by a top loader fourspeed manual, aluminium driveshaft and nine-inch Ford positraction rear end. It has four-wheel disc brakes and rolls on 17-inch Shelby aluminium wheels and radial tyres. The interior features black deluxe comfort weave bucket seats, rear fold-down seat, roll bar, wood steering wheel, tilt steering column, full gauges, air conditioning and custom Audio Sound stereo.
